Recruitment

Student Recruitment

What is Passages? Passages offers Christian college and high school students with leadership potential a creative next-generation approach to experiencing the Holy Land. Participants will encounter the roots of their Biblical faith first-hand and come face-to-face with the modern-day miracle that is Israel. Upon their return, participants will have opportunities to build upon their trip experiences by engaging in further leadership training, with an end goal of being an informed voice for both their Christian faith and for Israel.

Before subsidization, the Passages program costs over $6,000. Because of Passages’s generous donors, this opportunity is available to participants for a fraction of the total cost as their registration fee.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • College students should be between the ages of 18 and 30 years old, a full time college student, and agree to our faith statement. Graduated seniors are eligible up to one year after their graduation date.
  • Graduate students should be enrolled full time, and agree to our faith statement.
  • Secondary school students must be enrolled in a high school (9th-12th), and agree to our faith statement.

    Chaplain Recruitment

The core function of the Passages Chaplain is to deliver the spiritual dynamic of the program. This includes introducing students to the biblical roots of the faith, mentoring and community building. A Passages Chaplain may be selected from among the institution’s faculty, administration, or from within a Christian campus organization.

    Chaplain Job Description

  • A bachelor’s degree is required
  • Chaplains that are 30 years old and older are preferred. Younger applicants will be considered on a case by case basis, so long as they meet the minimum leadership experience requisites, and are required to submit a letter of recommendation.
