In June of 2017, I was given the opportunity to travel to Israel with a group of students from Lipscomb. I had spent the previous week in Moldova, a small country in Eastern Europe, so after a whirlwind flight across the ocean and a 20-hour layover in New York, I met up with my group and flew right back across the Atlantic to Tel Aviv. (As much as I love traveling, I would not recommend that path- however, the sunset over the Mediterranean was breathtaking as we landed in Tel Aviv!)
