Lead in Israel.

About the Trip Fellowship

In each iteration of the Olympic Games,  every country has a flag-bearer to introduce their team in the Opening Ceremonies. The job of this flag-bearer is to not only represent their country well at the start and through the duration of the games, but to introduce and lead their teammates following behind them into the experience of a lifetime. As a Fellow, you are Passages’ flag-bearer, and Israel is the experience of a lifetime.

The Fellowship Program is a peer-leadership opportunity that gives Passages alumni a chance to return to Israel a second time as a leader on a bus with first-time Passages participants. The Fellow exists to be the official Passages representative on their bus in Israel – they facilitate and enhance the Passages program for their peers. A Fellow’s realm of responsibility stretches out among Passages’ program consisting of the Pre-Trip, Trip, and Post-Trip phases, however they are most active on the trip itself. They are the flag-bearers, leading their teams in the Holy Land.

Fellow for College OR High School Students

Did you know that we take high school students on trips to Israel? It’s true! We believe that a trip to Israel is a life-changing experience for every young Christian. In addition to learning about biblical and modern day Israel, our high school students participate in hands-on learning experiences, such as an archaeological dig, floating on the Jordan River, and doing a service project. We are looking for Fellows with a heart for and experience in leading high schoolers to lead our high school buses. If you have any questions about the high school program, please contact the Leadership Development Department.

Responsibilities

Upon acceptance, every Fellow is required to attend the Passages Leaders Conference for training and networking. Leaders Conference occurs three times a year: in January, April, and November of each year.
