Passages works at a relational level. We love getting to know our participants further and maintaining a strong community with our alumni! We have two Ambassador programs: Brand and Campus Ambassadors.
Brand and Campus Ambassadors serve as the official representative of Passages to their campus. They engage Passages alumni on campus after a trip by hosting various events throughout the year to bring the Passages family together again — whether it be through a reunion event, or a Jewish-Christian community event with the local Jewish community, Ambassadors are key in maintaining Passages life on campus and continuing the conversation that was started on the trip. Not only is this person the key student contact for their university, but elite opportunities are also often first given to Brand and Campus Ambassadors. These are both paid positions, with more information below.
Brand – less than ten (10) alumni on campus, focus is on building Passages brand, you are helping to create awareness and recruit on your local campus for the next Passages trip season!
Campus – more than ten (10) alumni on campus, have a campus partnership with Passages, focus is on both your bus & campus community!
Ambassador Program – a Two-Level System: Campus Ambassadors have two options to choose from to serve as an Ambassador. There is the Semester Level, which encompasses the Passages Capstone (formerly known as Passages NOW) portion of post-trip engagement as well as the semester surrounding the Capstone. The Yearlong Level is for Ambassadors who wish to serve a full year, starting from the Leaders Conference. Campus Ambassadors are paid with a $500 stipend per semester they serve with us, getting up to $1,000 per year with a chance for bonuses. Below are what Ambassadors are required to do within each level, and also the opportunities each level provides:
